    These things never really seem to get anywhere because of regulation stuff. If I didn’t know better I would suspect a trillion dollar industry is employing dozens of lobbyists to keep it from being sold.

    But that’s nonsense of course, we’re a capitalist society where freedom and competition are valued above all else, right? Right?

      Thats why corporatism is so dangerous, especially lobbying. Personally I think lobbying should be banned outright and only through petitions.

      Keep the corpo’s out of governments

        I think this is what OP meant. Regulation can also come from lobbying. (I.e., it is a tool, that can be used for good and for evil.)

          Well, a ban is an extreme form of regulation. Regulation usually means adding some rules or standards that allow things to happen.
