You can do it either way. I personally have HA running on a Pi4 while frigate runs on my server, but this is just because HA is running well and I don’t want to mess with it and move my zigbee/zwave radios.

Strangely it’s usually only the cheap phones that include these premium features.

Where they gimp the screen, CPU, RAM, etc and then point to their low sales to claim people dont want things like a removable battery, SD card, headphone jack, etc or else they’d be buying them more. I hate it so much.

Ive had a couple of their ZWave light switches/scene controllers for a couple years now and they work great, were relatively cheap, and integrate well with HA.
