I use Linux mint, then use advanced emulation launcher to launch things that kodi doesn’t have but I want to use, like ESDE. Its a pain to remember custom thing I setup on it but I used to use the official kodi os (before the stopped it quite a few years ago)

Does it make the bleeps when you press buttons and move sliders ?

I’m sure there is a better way, but I seem to remember there was a watch folder integration that you could use to watch the TTS folder and then play that new file on a speaker. Not sure how you could then play it on the correct speaker, and I’m sure someone else has a much better real solution than this

So I don’t think HASS really names them, I think they have a default/preset name on themselves, like “TZ3000_2”

Before areas was a thing in HASS I would name things with an area name. ESP32-5-Bedroom. Now I just leave it what ever it defaults to, then use HASS to name them, and then put them in an area.
