  • PoS tends to continually centralize power. End of story. There is no situation where PoS does not ultimately fully centralize.

    Well yes and no… all your incomes will be the same proportionally. Now if the economy develops and the leaders continue to stake, then increasing your percentage will require more funds, but it is the same for them. Pretty fair game imo. Pretty sure things like the stocks market give higher rewards anyways, so you will be able to beat the leader if you really want to

    Nano uses ORV so no PoS, and it seems pretty cool. Not sure that it is applicable to Monero though

    Didn’t know FBA but it seems relatively centralized. Having to get approved to join will create elite circles and opens up the possibility of bad behavior. I feel like the possibility of a Sybil attack is pretty high if you manage to sneak past the trust chain. The weakest thing in security is the human, and FBA seems to nearly only rely on it

    Frankly, I feel like PoS or ORV are a lot easier to catch bad actors, and anyone can properly vote, instead of node owners only
