Did you get your phone from a carrier by any chance? I used 4 Samsung phones (A20s, A51, Note20 Ultra and currently a A55 5G), all of them except the N20U are unlocked and no one of them ever opened apps after they downloaded
Settings and Vulcan Updater apps crashing
Also on the Vulcan Updater app, you need to give it root access to update the ROM and stuff, but when pressing the Root Guide on the prompt it just opens the Home menu of the updater.
Also feels a bit laggy on first use but then it stabilizes.
Apps installed from Vulcan Updater crashing when trying to open them
Now that I think of it, maybe it isn’t as unstable as I thought…
Common manufacturing defect on Samsung phones, happens mostly in the Note20 phones (search up samsung green line, it’s what I have) One of the reasons I got another phone
Mostly light gaming, while playing a demanding game once in a while (Racing Master)
Also normal usage, Discord, WhatsApp, YT, Eternity and such.
Battery life I want min. 7 hours.
I don’t really need 4K cameras, but high quality audio is optional.
I want a screen with 120 Hz or more refresh rate as well
Around $300 - $400
I’m not in the EU
Because I think people are used to Chrome.
That being said, I used Edge till November 2022, before the Manifest V3 change.
Settings page
Doesn’t that one have ads?
Edit: Yup, it does.
No way that actually exists lol
Yeah I wouldn’t get a phone from a carrier. Apart from not releasing updates at the same time as unlocked phones, they can also install bloatware without your consent or stuff. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a new “feature” from AT&T but I’m not from the USA.
Does the notification come from Google Play or is it just a text toast saying that?
