The strangest thing was when I learned that American teenagers bully the ones who have Android because they mess up with the iMessage chats. So weird.
FTFY. In the rest of the world no one uses either SMS or iMessage.

I got one this year and just can’t love it. It’s fine, but I definitely miss my pixel 5.
They’ve been available on the nightly release for ages. But it’s a bit of a pain to install them.
It’s just not big enough in the EU. Everyone uses WhatsApp. If Google wants to push a regulator to do this then they need to find one in a market where iMessage is actually used.
Couldn’t replace.
When I try adding a photo in messages I get a grid with a viewfinder (which is really cool and clever) and a few recent photos. Tapping folders brings up all the photos on my phone in chronological order. I can’t see though how to open Google photos from this screen to get non local photos.
Also in typical android I’ve never seen this set up on any other app.
That’s a pretty big if. I’ve seen sites with banners at the top that say something along the lines of, “by dismissing this banner or continuing to use the site you’re consenting to cookies”
UK is the same shit offer. £100 play credit
It’s just about usability. Top of phones are hard to reach nowadays, so the more UI elements that are towards the bottom the better!
Mainly just the USA from looking at that really.
I went from pixel 5 to Samsung s23.
The hardware of Samsung feels really solid. It’s definitely more customisable. The pixel though just has everything already built in. It was a joy to use. Plus the camera is just so reliable. Far better than the base s23.
The Samsung isn’t quite bad enough that I want to sell it and get another pixel when it comes out, but I’m definitely not sticking with Samsung in however many years time when I do replace it.
Lol you can just tell it you disabled it.
But you don’t need ultra to have a fully functioning app. If you want to pay nothing you can. If you just want to remove ads forever it’s £17.
To get the initial release out. It’s not like there’ll be no more development after that. Plus, there’s the much cheaper price for just add free.
Eh, I think they’re talking about ultra
I had some issues with revanced, uninstalled and reinstalled I think with a slightly newer YouTube version and it’s fine again now.
I prefer gestures. But if you like buttons just go to settings and turn them on.
True. But the for the last part, but the argument for RCS is the same. But more so. You’d know you could just message them using it and you wouldn’t need to know if they were using WhatsApp discord. No matter what their phone would have RCS, or would fall back to SMS.
RCS done properly would be nice. I’d very much like to not be sending my messages through meta. Google’s implementation, however, just trades one American giant for another.
Lol so he had to get an iPhone for family chat, then I’ll bet still had to install WhatsApp for all his friend’s group chats.
