Wouldn’t that stop nearly every country from being able to contribute?
Sounds like a convoluted way of saying to just let the Russians off, veiled as some over the top “consistency” argument.
Maybe let’s do that tho, and just start with Russia 😆

So you think they’re against the invasion of Ukraine, and would like to see Israel hit with sanctions as well?
Because that wasn’t the impression I was getting.
I think we can all agree that what Russia and Israel are doing is horrific. Israel should be sanctioned as well, rather than letting Russia off…

Now that GPU companies and developers seem to be giving some focus to Linux, I don’t know what Microsoft can do.
Windows is bloated to shit and that’s how Microsoft seemingly wants it. Unless they start to offer a stripped down release then I don’t see how it could compete with a Linux based OS going forward. (For handheld consoles).
Wrong. Drugs are too expensive.
The whole point of what I’m saying is that nowhere accepts it and it’s therefore functionality useless for running a business, the point of this post/discussion.
I can easily prove that most retailers don’t accept Monero and it’s therefore basically useless.
It’s a pain in the arse to even buy in the UK, I know because I use it to buy drugs.
Ah yes, the currency that’s pretty much only accepted for buying drugs or anything illegal.

“Finally” really is the key word, waiting for Proton to add features or apps is painful at times.
Glad they’ve finally made progress with this.
Thanks, I’ll definitely need to give Linux gaming another shot then.
The last bit that might hold me back is getting my Hue Sync stuff working. It sounds silly, but it really makes games feel so much more immersive that I don’t want to be without it.
I’ll need to give Linux gaming another chance at some point.
All I know is that people were saying games run great on Linux a couple of years ago as well, but when I actually tried it for myself the performance was unusable.
Maybe that was my fault for over complicating my setup, but even when I tried a basic setup it still felt very janky.
Not sure if anyone’s able to advise, but does RTX and variable refresh rate work on Linux?
Those are absolute requirements for me.
Windows 10 and 11 are the same product, just a new version…
They’re also extremely similar (damn near identical), and if you currently use windows 10 then eventually you’ll have no option but move to 11…
Can you tho?
You’re gonna get a whole team of people retrained with software they’re not used to, probably doesn’t have proper support or learning resources to fall back on, and may lack features or compatibility?
They might save some money, but a lot of businesses are more than happy to pay a lot to ensure they don’t have to worry about the above, and they can get on with their company’s actual purpose.
But they add so much value to the supply chain for an item, you gotta feel sorry for these poor parasites 😢
Hyprland is better if you’re on Nvidia as well.
Mainly because if you ask for help with Sway on Nvidia then people basically tell you to fuck off and call you a cunt.
For real tho, they’ll actually chastise you just for asking a question.

Yes, they choose to not support Linux because it’s a tiny market share.
I’m pro Linux gaming, but I don’t blame companies for not supporting it when it’s such a tiny market.
Hopefully it’s going to take off and we’ll see more games with native support now that the steam deck is doing so well.
Huh, wish I’d known that before I ordered.
Will avoid in future, as that’s genuinely quite fucked up…
I tend to not see the difference, but I do feel it.
Whether it’s on a phone or gaming on a computer, it just feels more responsive and like a smoother experience.
That’s not completely unreasonable tbh, but I still think the current sanctions are fair if not perfect.
I didn’t purposely misread, this part was just a bit unclear:
