Note-taking is nice with a stylus but for just holding it and watching videos or browsing a surface is honestly too unwieldly and the windows touch interface is also not great.
You still have to be careful with multiplayer games in my experience though
Any advice for modding? I couldnt get mod organizer to work even close to reliably and enb is also really hit or miss
Vulkan isnt that new though so a 1660 should be fine, right?
monotrox@discuss.tchncs.deto Linux@lemmy.ml•which linux distro do you NOT like, and why?5·2 years agoThe first time I tried ubuntu I did not install it because it felt like half of the screen space was used up by the sidebar, top bar and window decoration so yeah.

Here's my experience so far.2·2 years agoThat really depends on what kind of computer you are using and how fast your internet connection is. Also a desktop computer should be (for most people) as little maintanance work as possible and having long update/install times really stands in the way of that.
Its still amazing how easy it is to use, you can get a desktop environment running in a couple of minutes and apk is insanely fast and easy
Would have probably tried as my main PC distro if NVIDIA drivers would work on it :(

Have you tried Gradience?
