Windows has spell checking and autocomplete that works in pretty much any app and I think it works really well. I often find that I can type sentences a lot faster in Windows.

Get yourself an HTPC keyboard with a built in trackpad. The Logitech K400 is a good choice.

Void is by far the fastest booting distro I’ve ever used. I like how it allows you to load the boot USB into RAM and I wish every distro did that.

I used to enjoy listening to him on YouTube simply because he didn’t yell in his videos like every other YouTuber. He had a bit of a Bob Ross vibe to him, but then he went off the deep end.

I was in the same boat. Windows 10 was buggy as shit when it first came out, and I thought it was ugly and void of personality (still do). That’s when I committed to using Linux full time and haven’t looked back.

I’m convinced they made iTunes for windows run like shit on purpose.

There’s very few people that hear about Linux and then switch over the next day. It’s something that needs to fester in your head for a while. I didn’t start using Linux full time until like a decade after I tried it for the first time

Plasma has gone from being one of the worst DEs (slow, buggy, kind of ugly) to being the absolute best in a really short amount of time.

Plasma just has killer features that other desktops just don’t have, like KDE connect and the encrypted vaults. Sure you can get those things on other desktops, but they’re not built in and they’re nowhere near as seamless. Plus KDE apps in general are just better.
