I have tried kmail, Geary, mailspring before I landed on betterbird. I’m not sure what you mean with slow, but it works without issues on my pc. It does a lot of stuff, but it’s a fork of Thunderbird, which you want to exclude based on the initial thread. There are not a lot of linux clients even worth trying. Good luck finding your jam.

I’ve been using endeavourOS for 1,5 years already and love it. Most of my games run with little to no tinkering. I’ve had no major issues that I couldn’t resolve with some googling or asking someone who knew better. Before I ended up with endeavourOS I have tried several distros ( mx Linux, Ubuntu, Garuda, Fedora, nobara, popOS ) and with all of them I had different issues that I was not too keen on troubleshooting. I would avoid Garuda and just go with Arch or endeavourOS for gaming.

Some do, others don’t and as someone else said i am not going to make Patreon and do monthly sub to each of them. As I said I watch hundreds of hours per month and it’s not from 4-5 creators. For me it’s worth - I pay for the infrastructure and some support for the people I watch. If it’s free for you it means someone else is paying.

I pay for YouTube because it does give more revenue than watching an ad to the creators. I pay 6$ and watch hundreds of hours monthly. If it was more than that I will consider alternatives and AdBlock (what I was doing before started my sub). To each their own :)
