They are fixing 6 rapidly its awesome to see. By the time kubuntu 24.04 is out it should be pretty stable.
@blackfire @thisweekinkde kubuntu 24.04 won’t include plasma 6 but a not so well maintained plasma 5 session unfortunately
Well that is terrible news. Any reason for it? Will there be a backports with 6?
Yup that is very bad, as Plasma 6 is already so good. Testing it on Fedora 40, it just works.
The reason is 24.04 is LTS, and they want to keep things more stable, even if that means more bugs. 24.10 should come with 6.1 in the fall.
