@TheGhostHybrid @palitu I probably should update the readme… This is a bit outdated

Hello, I’m Carl. I’m French-German and I currently live in Berlin. In my free time, I contribute to the KDE project where I (co-)maintain multiple applications: Tokodon, Merkuro, Arianna, NeoChat as well as the websites. Previously Nextcloud. There is a merge requests to move to QtWebengine but it is stalled for a few months.

And we (Merkuro dev) are contributing to improve it which benefit all the Kontact users.

While some devs (like me) works on both Kontact and Merkuro devs, other are only working on one of them. I don’t see Kontact disappearing anytime soon.

CalDAV is definitively supported

Journals works in KOrganizer. It’s quite unlikely I will add that to Merkuro mail any time soon as I have no real use for them and I don’t want to makes the UI more complex.

Carl Schwan :kde:@floss.socialto KDE@lemmy.kde.social•There's some mismatch between Linux kernel 3.10 and [#KDE](https://fosstodon.org/tags/KDE) that wants to use clone3 to create a process thread.2·2 years ago@zygoon @kde@lemmy.kde.social @kde kernel 3.10 was released more than 10 years ago and received a last update in 2017. Is that really a kernel still used in the wild?
Looking at https://lxr.kde.org/search?%21v=kf5-qt5&_filestring=&_string=sched.h, KDE does not do a clone3 directly. It’s likely done by a dependency of Plasma :( But I might be wrong as I’m definitively not an expert in syscall
@kde @mykolak @kde@lemmy.kde.social It’s a bit more complicated than that. There has been many bug reports about this already and it’s a conflict prone subject even between KMail contibutors…
